Vancouver, Canada (Peace Center) is the host of the 2010 Olympics. This would be an opportunity to spotlight human creativity by incorporating the Harmony Olympics as a follow up event for the international Olympics partcipants. It would allow participants to celebrate their human physical achievements while uniting with "the competition" and spectators during a two day festival highlighting human creativity.
The unity created at this concert will demonstrate to the generation in power that non-violent acts are the only way to create peace. The Live Aid concert (http://www.heroism.org/class/1980/liveaid.htm) showed the world, music can assist healing on a global scale. Harmony Olympics, as a regular event, will pave the way to World Peace.
Harmony Olympics will be run every four years and will be awarded in a similar fashion as the World Olympics. The Harmony Olympics will generate funding for the United Nations Peace Assembly, a gathering of world leaders guided by the United Nations principles of “Sustainable Development” and the “Earth Charter”.
This new facility will be designed and located in an area that induces the feeling of harmony to all people that enter the structure. This structure will allow world leaders and decision makers to meet in an environment that creates equality, honesty, and collaboration. All meetings will be facilitated by world class mediators/healers. This structure built by citizens of the free world will become the shrine in honour of the many war related losses throughout the world. The peace assembly is intented to empower the world decision makers into collaboration instead of competitiveness.

These will be benefit concerts. Transportation and accommodation is to be provided to all volunteers, entertainers, and workshop facilitators.
Donations and sponsorship are encouraged and welcomed to help initiate the first concert. All proceeds from ticket sales will be used toward building the United Nations Peace Assembly and sustaining future Olympic events. The method of donating will be posted in the near future. All donators and sponsors will receive recognition as a charter member of the biggest and most successful peace movement ever conducted.
